SOILS, WATER USE AND ENVIRONMENT

The water and fertilizer requirements of the major crops (citrus, olives, deciduous fruits, potatoes and other vegetables and aromatic plants) is the main objective of the Soils and Water Use section. Various methods of irrigation and fertigation are also tested. The use of sewage effluent for agricultural production is investigated.
