Since 1992 the Institute of Technology acts
as the Cyprus consulatns acreditation body.Consultancy services that are provided under
the Industrial Restructuring Scheme, are
undertaken by consultants that are accredited by the Institute of Technology. The Institute
has already accredited, using strict guidelines that ensure high professional standards,
a large number of Cypriot consultants that are specialised in a wide spectrum of fields.
Furthermore, the Institute subsidizes 50% of the cost of special courses and seminars for
consultants so as to ensure that the high standards in the consultancy field are maintained.
Finally the Institute of Technology retains close links with the Cyprus Association of
Business Consultants.
