| Determination of examination in the law and practices of the Stock Exchange. The Council shall fix the date, the place and the subject and fees of participation in the examination, with a decision published in the Official Gazette of the Republic, at least three months prior to the date fixed for holding the examination. Application The application for participation in the aforementioned examination shall be in writing and shall be submitted to the Council at least one month prior to the date fixed for the holding of the examination. The participation fee prescribed by the Council shall be paid simultaneously with the submission of the application. The participation fee is £50. Holding of examination The next examination will take place on Tuesday 30th of December 2003 Subjects of the examination: 1. The Cyprus Securities and Stock Exchange (Central Depository and Central Securities Registry) Laws. 2. The Cyprus Securities and Stock Exchange Laws. 3. The Cyprus Securities and Stock Exchange Regulations. 4. The Cyprus Securities and Stock Exchange (Public offer for acquisition of Securities and Members of companies listed on the Stock Exchange) Regulations. 5. Trading Rules ( Electronic Trading System) 6. Clearing and Settlement Rules. 7. Decisions of the Stock Exchange derived from the laws and Regulations (up the data of publication in the official government Gazette). 8. Company Law, Section 113. (Can be obtained at the government printing department at the price of CY£15) 9. The Cyprus Securities and Stock Exchange (clearing, trading, and settlement of dematerialized securities) regulations 10. The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (establishment and competency) Law 11. Any other economics and finance subjects. The decisions of the Cyprus Stock Exchange derived from the laws and regulations for the period 1996-2003 can be also obtained from the Cyprus Stock Exchange at the price of £7 for each year.
