During the 1974 barbarian Turkish
invasion, 3 of our fellow villagers of Lapathos were captured and disappeared by
the Turkish invading military forces. These people are our relatives, our
friends and our own blood.
A total of 1619* men, women and
children of all villages and towns of Cyprus were reported as missing due to the
Turkish barbarian invasion to the island in 1974.
We demand from the whole civilized world to practice all possible pressures
to the Turkish military and political authorities in order to provide evidence
for their fortune.

Singled out in numerous
occasions and tortured savagely over a prolonged period of time by
his captors. Torturers included Turkish soldiers, Turkish officers
and Turkish-Cypriots civilians. Torture included the deprivation of
food, water and sleep, constant and savage beating, and tying up in
pain-inflicting positions over prolonged periods of time. |
