Cholecalciferol :
A crystalline Vitamin D3. It is used in the manufacturing of human and veterinary, vitamin D3, specialities both for oral and parenteral use.

Dohyfral D3 - 2000Fg :
Solution of crystalline Vitamin D3 in peanut oil. It is particularly suitable for the preparation of pharmaceutical specialities and for the vitaminization of food products. (e.g. Margarine).

Duphasol D3 - 1000 Dry Stable :
Crystalline Vitamin D3 stabilised with a gelatine / carbohydrate coating and incorporated in a carrier of edible sugar. Suitable for the vitaminization of all kinds of dry, water dispersible food products. The excellent stability makes this formulation very suitable for working up in powders and tablets in the pharmaceutical industry.

Duphasol D3-100 Dry Stable CWD :
Crystalline Vitamin D3 stabilised in a matrix of acacia gum/carbohydrate and incorporated in a carrier of lactose. Used in the pharmaceutical, dairy and food industry. This product is suitable for working up both in liquids and in dry mixtures.

Ergocalciferol :
Crystalline Vitamin D2. It is used in the manufacture of human and veterinary specialities both for oral and parenteral use.

Animal Feed Grade Products

Dohyfral D3 - 2000 :
Solution of Vitamin D3 in resin in edible oil. It is insoluble in water; soluble in organic solvents and vegetable oils. Therefore it can be incorporated in oily preparations for animal nutrition and it also prevents rickets.

Duphasol D3 - 1000 : (Potency 1 million IU/g)
Is a free-flowing, water dispersible, mineral stable powder. The Vitamin D3 is stabilised by means of a gelatine/carbohydrate coating. BHT is used as antioxidant. Duphasol D3-1000 has been developed for use in animal nutrition. The product is highly resistant to minerals, CaCO3, humidity and pelleting conditions. Its water-dispensability makes the product uniquely useful for all kinds of feed mixtures, including milk replacers, mineral premixes and protein concentrates.

Duphasol D3 - 500 : (Potency 0.5 million IU/g)
Is a free-flowing, water dispersible, mineral stable powder. The Vitamin D3 is stabilised by means of a gelatine/carbohydrate coating. BHT is used as antioxidant. Cholesterol Products

Cholesterol NF & TG :
Crystalline powder, which is made by extraction and refining processes from woolgrease. Cholesterol NF is soluble in most common organic solvents and vegetable oils; insoluble in water. It is widely used as an emulsifying agent in cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations. Cholesterol functions as an excellent moisturiser in skin conditioning cosmetics. It is also used as the basic material for the synthesis of Vitamin D3 and liquid crystals.

Cholesterol FG & SF :
It is a natural sterol derived from an animal source. It is soluble in most common organic solvents and vegetable oils; insoluble in water. As an additive for shrimp feed cholesterol is an essential molecule for the synthesis of moulting hormones, sex hormones, bile acids, Vitamin D and is a building block of shrimp tissues. Cholesterol cannot be synthesised by the shrimp and has therefore to be added to the shrimp feed.

Lanolin Alcohols Lo :
A complex mixture of high molecular normal and branched chain monohydric alcohols and sterols are produced by Saponification of lanolin by a special process. The emulsifying, stabilising and softening properties of these wool alcohols with a woolwax consistence are very interesting. Soluble in hydrocarbons, Chlorinated hydrocarbons, vegetable and mineral oils; insoluble in water. It is a substitution of neutral woolgrease in technical applications. Auxiliary agent in textile lubricants (batching oils), leather preservatives (fat liquoring), anti-corrosion compounds, polishing materials, emulsion paints, wood preservatives (water-repellent and anti-blooming agent). In waterproofing agents for textile and paper.

Dusoran MD :
A purified form of lanolin alcohols, is a complex mixture of high molecular normal and branched chain alcohols and sterols. It is soluble in mineral oils, abs, ethanol, ethanol 95%, chloroform, ether, light petroleum, toluene; insoluble in water. It is used in absorption bases, nourishing creams (moisturising and conditioning), emollient creams and lotions, hair creams, cleansing preparations, etc. Dusoran MD has very interesting stabilising and softening properties and is a choice emulsifier for the preparation of water-in-oil emulsions, especially when mixed with paraffin.

Lanosterol :
Is a crystalline powder. It is a mixture of wool wax triter-penoids, mainly lanosterol and dihydrolanosterol. Lanosterol technical grade is highly soluble in dioxane, ether and ethylacetate; soluble in acetone, chlorinated hydrocarbons, open-chain and cyclic hydrocarbons; slightly soluble in ethanol and methanol; insoluble in water. Lanosterol is an nonionic, auxiliary emulsifier, which can jellify hydrocarbons. It is used in cosmetic preparations, especially in lipsticks and cosmetic creams. Lanosterol is the starting material of choice for the synthesis of various tetracyclic triter-penoid derivatives.
