  maybe in combination with (free for personal use) tavultesoft's 'keyman' and a proper font (means a unicode somewhat->palatino linotype) you won't have troubles with your language switching issues (there's a complete package availble). otherwise simply use this keyman after you have become used to the alphabet, and therefore don't need the visual help, for typing greek in any documents (the button mapping is somewhat complex, but i'm sure, that you get used to it quickly) you desire to do so.
