DVDs compatible?

  Has anyone tried sending DVDs from Greece to America? Is there a compatibility problem? If so, is there a solution? Many thanks if you have any experience on this subject!

  They are most probably not compatible, as North America is Zone 1, Central and South America is Zone 4 and Europe is Zone 2. You'll need either a Multi-Zone DVD player or a Zone 2 DVD-player in order to play Greek DVD's.

  Just saw this message almost 2 months later. Had to throw in my 2 cents on this one.

Although probably not exactly the most ethical way to go, but it works extremely well...there are plenty of DVD-burning (DVD-ripping) software out there that will allow you to copy the DVD from Greece (or any Region Code for that matter)...and on your resulting fresh minted copy, it will be "Region-Free", i.e., it will play in darn near any DVD player on the planet.
