  The raised dot (ยท) following a word is the Greek semicolon.

Using Windows' Character Map applet (charmap.exe), you can find this symbol in the Western character set at character U-00CB (keyboard code Alt-0203), or in the Greek character set (Windows-1253) at character U-00B7 (keyboard code Alt-0183).
