Views of Ayios Epiktitos

The following photos comprise our heritage. They depict key locations of Ayios Epiktitos along with private property that is captured by the Turkish barbarian military forces from their lawful owners since 1974. These are our houses that wait patiently their real owners to return and inhabit them. We hope that this day will come soon.

General vicinity of Ayios Epiktitos

Main Road connecting Ayios Epiktitos and the village of Klepini. The photo taken going towards Klepini coming from the west, that is, coming from the village of Ayios Epiktitos.
Pahyammos area, near the beautiful Kyrenian sea.
Picture taken from "Paradisia" area. On the far horizon are the areas of the houses of Spiros Papadamou, and Kyriacos Tzirkis. Also is visible the huge antenna above the house of Dimitris Stavrou (Stavrallas) on the far right. From where the picture was taken, and turning right, is the road leading to the cemetery of Saint (Ayia) Stefani.
This photo was taken from the north side of the mount Pentadactylos. On the far horizon on the center of the photo is the Voufavento castle and the legendary 100 Houses of Righena. Leftwards (east) is the village Klepini and right (west) is the village Bellapais. Ayios Epiktitos is further north, behind from where the picture was taken.
This photo shows a west side of Agios Epiktitos. You can see the olive trees and other fruit bearing trees, as well as the rich flora of the entire area where our village lies.
One of the two mud roads leading to the "Vouppous" area, "Tshirkou" area, and "Avlatshia" area, in Pahyammos beach, north of Ayios Epiktitos. This photo shows the road in the east (there are 2 roads leading to the sea) and begins from the house of Pantelis Saxiate and goes north until it reaches the sea shores.
Another photo of the mud road leading to the "Vouppous" area, "Tshirkou" area, and "Avlatshia" area, in Pahyammos beach, north of Ayios Epiktitos. The road begins from the house of Pantelis Saxiate and goes north until it reaches the sea shores. You can see some new buildings constructed illegally by the Turks after 1974.
