Audio tapes/ Nicene Creed/ Lords Prayer
by Guest User - Tuesday, 14 February 2006, 05:06 AM
  To anyone,

Although this really hasn't got anything to do with what the forum should be used for I would extremely grateful if someone could point me a site which contains audio files in greek of the "The Nicene Creed" and the "Lords Prayer" as I would really like to learn these.

I know I should really learn to walk before I run but I am Greek Orthodox by religion and have never learn't either and since my nearest Church does the liturgy almost always in greek I would at minium like to learn the Creed and the Lords Prayer. Unfortunately it is a little hard to pick up from the liturgy in Church as they are both said too quickly to really catch pronunciation etc.

So any help in this direction would be most welcome.

well, I am sure someone better than I am in searching will find sth

You can always look on http://goarch.org/. Perhaps its multimedia section has sth

Anyway, if nothing works, I'll just have to recite them and record them in a nice wav file I guess smile

Thank you, I really never thought about searching on this site and it is quite a good site especially for calender dates etc. I will search this site more extensively tommorw and if you don't mind and I have no luck I will hold you to the wave files.

many thanks anyway.

I found this at www.greekbiblos.gr/pathmon.htm

ΑΓΙΑΣΘΗΤΩ ΤΟ ΟΝΟΜΑ ΣΟΥ (what looks like π, is γι: αγιασθητω)
