I'm confused. Is λείπω passive or active? meaning, does λείπω mean "I am missed" or "I miss"? Does μου λείπεις in fact really mean "you are missed by me"? The lexicon does not list λείπω, but does list παραλείπω. |

It's active. "Mου λείπεις" means "I am missing you" and would be translated verbatim "You are away 'for me'" "Λείπω" means "I am not there" In this case "mou" is not the object. It shows for whom the fact that "you" are not there is important (trying not to get technical) |
