Patrick, Your Greek vocabulary is way beyond me, but I tried to translate it with a dictionary. Perhaps you would be so kind as to correct me ******* Εμπρος Γιοργος ! Onward George ! Οπου λαλουν πολλοι πετεινοι, αργει να ξημερωσει ! where many **s crow, it is late dawning Τι κριμα! what a sin ***** PS: Why didn't you use one of the vocative forms (eg, Γιοργο or Γεοργιο, probably mispelt) in the first line? |

Γιασου Γιοργο, Πειστευω οτι Δεν βγαζω ακρη σημαινει there is no meaning, something chaotic, that was my husbands explanation. Δεν βγαζω ακρη με my dictionary has "make nothing of.." Hope That Helps. |

Elaine, euxaristw polu! So, perhaps Patrick Byrt was telling me that "tha prepe va eisai pernphavn na eisai Ellnvida" is meaningless (see top of thread)... PS: If you are kind enough to field a personal question, why is your name not "Elaine Klironomou" ? (I had understood genitive to be customary for married women.) |

I put "μος" on my passport so I usually sign with that, if I give ny name orally I use 'μου'. Hope I don't post this 3 times. Here goes. |
