  hi,
i have a problem with some words which are in another form then the one presented in the dictonary. It won't recognise them unless they are in the exact form.
for example: i have been trying to find out what 'koita' means. Can anyone help me with it?
thanks

it means 'look' like when you say "Look! Can you see that?" Have you tried finding the meanings of words on 'World Lingo' web site?

I'm not sure what you mean with the 'World Lingo' web site,
but the following website is invaluable to find any type
of inflected words:

http://www.neurolingo.gr/online_tools/lexiscope.htm

Btw., you need to enter the word with Greek letters, but
it doesn't matter if you mix up some letters as the search
is fuzzy and it will suggest a couple of similar words
if it doesn't recognize the word.
oh, and it doesn't provide translations, but once you
know the "normal" form, you can look it up anywhere else.

If you look up "κοιτα" there, it will find "κοιτάζω" and
a noun "η Κοίτα". If you only heard the word, and looked
up "κιτα" (not knowing which of the 5 "i"-sounds it is),
it would offer "κοίτα", "κοιτά", and lots of other similar
words.
