Hello...

I am having difficulty finding the word στάσου in any of my dictionaries...does it mean "stay" as an imperative? It is in a song, and the translation says this, but I still wanted to find out what the actual meaning or root of it is...thanks!

στάσου means stop!, stand still!, wait (a moment)! It is the imperative of the verb στέκομαι, I stand, which is introduced in Lesson 44.
