How to call "speech mania" in Greek?
by Vladislav Gladkikh - Thursday, 28 February 2013, 12:12 AM
I am trying to make a medical term for an illness which is mania for long and stupid speeches.

Too many big bosses and officials in the world suffer from this terrible disease.

They have mania for meetings and speeches. And because they cannot deliver their speeches alone, they need audience.

Because nobody will ever go to their stupid speeches voluntarily, they order their subordinates to come.

I am trying to find a Greek, scientifically sounding name for this illness. Google translate gives the Greek word for speech: ομιλία

Can mania for speeches be called Omiliphilia?

  Haha that's funny :P

Maybe you can call it "Ομιλιομανία (omiliomania)" or "λογομανία (logomania)"
