| Hi this has always baffled me, how do you tell the difference if someone uses this phrase weather they are asking How are you ? Or What are you doing ? |

| The experts will answer better but I think you can only tell by the context eg. if you bump into somebody and say 'ti kanete' it will mean 'how are you' but if you say it to somebody say repairing their car it will mean 'what are you doing ?'. There could sometimes be ambiguity though. |
