  Could someone please tell me what όση ώρα means in the following sentence?

Όση ώρα ο Διόνυσος ήταν δίπλα στο σώμα του αγαπημένου φίλου του, έγινε το πρώτο κλήμα.

  I think it means -as long as or Whilst

  literaly "all the hour" or "as long as the hour he was (Διονυσος) next to the body of his beloved friend"

  IT MEANS WHILE DIONISOS WAS SITING NEXT TO HIS BEST FRIENDS BODY THE FIRST VINE WAS DONE
