The tuition fees for the 1999/2000 program are C£2.000 and are payable in three
installments at the beginning of each Term. Fees for Cypriot participants are paid by
their sponsoring organization.
Other Expenses
The cost of purchasing the required books is approximately C£350. Living
expenses (housing, food and incidentals) for an 11month stay in Cyprus approximate
C£3.000.
Sponsorship for Cypriot Participants
For Cypriot candidates who wish to be employed through the program, the MIM will
arrange interviews with interested organizations. Employment of selected candidates may
start, on a full-time basis, before the beginning of the program.
For all sponsored participants, the MIM recommends that their employers pay them an
adequate monthly stipend and supply them with the necessary books. Further,
they are required to pay to the MIM the tuition fees.
Request for Sponsoring
Organizations who wish to sponsor participants to this program must indicate their
specific requirements for managerial staff by appropriately completing the "REQUEST
FOR SPONSORING FORM" (on page 25 of the prospectus), and mailing it to the MIM
secretary, by 1st of July.
Sponsoring organizations are advised to refer to the Industrial Training Authority for
information about the scheme for subsidising business organizations sponsoring
participants to the MIM program.
